ETMR is a CNS embryonal tumor characterized by alterations, including amplification and fusions, involving the C19MC locus at chromosome 19q13.42. The histologic patterns of ETMR include tumors previously classified as embryonal tumor with abundant neuropil and true rosettes (ETANTR), ependymoblastoma, and medulloepithelioma.
